There you find some sights which you know from your books. Choose three on which you collect further information,
more information than you get from your books.
Now there is some group work to be done (no more than 5 in a group):
You prepare a virtual trip to Washington D.C. which includes
a short introduction of yourself and the members of your group. We`ll use a digital camera for the photos.
the planning of the flight (airline, departure time, airport, fares.)
where you want to stay (write a letter or an e-mail to book your accomodation!)
what you want to see in Washington D.C. with additional information on the sights you are
going to visit. A choice of three sights is enough.
additional pastimes like shopping, museums, theatres, excursions, river cruises (use your imagination and
the internet!!)
what you get to know about politics, latest events (use the "Washington Post" or "cnn news"
on the internet for information)
mention the internet addresses you used and state whether they were useful or not.
